This is a public private partnership between the New Jersey Performing Arts Center and Dranoff Properties. The 1.2 acre site in downtown Newark, NJ, will be transformed into a high density residential and mixed use destination. Redefining Newark’s skyline, the design includes a dramatic 22-story tower with a curved glass corner that will become a decisive symbol of Newark’s revival. There will be 242 apartments, 15,000 sq. ft. of ground floor retail and 281 parking spaces in the parking garage adjacent to the tower.

Located across the street from NJPAC and across Military Park from the new Prudential headquarters, within walking distance of the city’s business district, and adjacent to the waterfront, this project provides the opportunity to create an urban lifestyle destination and continue the renaissance of downtown Newark with 24/7 activity. One of three development sites adjacent to and owned by NJPAC, One Theater Square is a part of a larger vision to shape the future of downtown Newark.
