MY Architecture
is an architecture, interiors, and planning firm in Philadelphia with deep expertise in urban mixed-use / multifamily / commercial / cultural projects. We work primarily with developer clients to realize projects which create value for their owners as well as for the surrounding community while creating beautiful and harmonious environments for all. We create vibrant, award winning, mixed use developments at a variety of scales, rooted in their place, respectful of history, and focused on the future. We are architects of the city.
We are a new firm with a substantial history. The founder and namesake of MY Architecture, Michael Ytterberg, was for nearly 20 years design principal and leader of the multi-family practice at BLT Architects, one of Philadelphia's premier architecture firms. MY Architecture is a continuation of the studio led by Mr. Ytterberg at his previous firm.
MY Architecture of Philadelphia and WKL Architecture of Wilkes-Barre have been strategic partners for the past four years, working on Phase 1 and Phase 2 of the Hamilton, a 576 unit apartment building in Center City, Philadelphia. WKL Architecture is a Women’s Business Enterprise with 25 years of award-winning work for repeat clients in northeast Pennsylvania, particularly in the higher education market. Whatever the job requirements, together our firms have the expertise, manpower and geographic reach to serve clients throughout the Mid-Atlantic region.
