Once the home of major industry, particularly the RCA Victor Company and the Campbell Soup Company, the city of Camden is now one of the poorest cities in the country. We were responsible for the residential portion of a new master plan that called for the establishment of a fully functional urban neighborhood on the banks of the Delaware River, with residential, office, and retail development, to be called Cooper’s Crossing.
The plan called for $750 million of mixed use development over the 35 acres of the total site. This was to include retail and entertainment space, office space, and up to 1,200 residential units.
