Located in the Rittenhouse Square neighborhood, this ground-up urban infill redevelopment project has 110 market rate apartments loaded with luxury appointments and finishes. The 12-story building includes a retail tenant space on the ground level, an interior courtyard at the second floor residential level and a roof deck. Also included is an expansion of the adjacent Freire School into new classrooms in the building’s basement.
Small units and the courtyard plan enabled maximum development of an extremely narrow site in the heart of Center City. Though compact and affordable, the apartments have all the features of larger units. They feature 9 -foot ceilings with floor-to-ceiling windows and modern amenities designed to appeal to a young urban professional clientele. The unit mix includes studios, two-bedroom and one-bedroom plus den apartments. AQ Rittenhouse injects vitality into an underdeveloped city block while ensuring that its scale, aesthetics and use are harmonious with the surrounding neighborhood.
